Earlier this year I worked with Netherlands based company Walkabout Australia/New Zealand to revamp their corporate identity and website. I'm happy to hear they just took home the Qantas Iron Boomerang Award for Best Australia / New Zealand Website 2011 from tour operators in the Benelux.
Walkabout Australia/New Zealand has been organising tours from The Netherlands to Australia and New Zealand since 1994 and have a true passion for their industry. Their corporate identity and website had aged over time and this year they were ready for a re-design of both. They felt the logo was out-dated but wanted to keep certain elements so that customers could still recognise the brand. We kept the colour scheme but freshened it up by removing the square outlines, background colour and switching fonts.
The old website offered readers a wealth of information but it was difficult to navigate, and visits were not converting to sales. Now the information is clearly organised by country and the new design is much easier on the eye.
